Not everything Cisco does is business focused. There is a human side to providing the core network that the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. And although the title of the programme may sound a little corporate, what we do certainly isn't.

Cisco's Young Ambassadors Programme is primarily focused on building relationships for local people and making them feel part of the Games. To achieve this, the programme enables businesses, communities, and schools in the five Host Boroughs to express their creative side, using Cisco technology and new media to produce their own Games-inspired videos and blogs.

The aim is encourage as many people from different cultures and backgrounds to share their personal stories and content with an audience as far reaching as the Games. With over 7 million people, over 300 languages spoken in school by children and 200 different ethnic communities in London alone, the content produced should provide something for everyone, wherever they are in the world.
