Roger Black
Roger Black MBE is one of the UK´s most successful sportsmen. He represented Great Britain for 14 years both as an individual 400 metre runner and a member of the 4x400 metre relay team. In this time, he won fifteen major Championship Medals including European, Commonwealth and World Championship Gold Medals. However his greatest achievements were winning the Olympic 400 metres Silver Medal in 1996 and being part of the Gold Medal winning 4 × 400 metres relay team at the 1991 World Championships where he was also British Men´s Team Captain.
Roger is also well known for his television work in the UK. He appears regularly on quiz shows ´A Question of Sport´ and ´They Think It´s All Over´ as well as other broadcast engagements. He has also worked with BBC Sport, having co-presented the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, World Athletics Championships and the Commonwealth Games.
But it is his public speaking and training that draws the crowds these days, as Roger continues to motivate and inspire audiences across Europe. Along with his business partner and fellow Olympian Steve Backley, they now concentrate on company performance, transferring the skills they learned as Olympians to the workplace.
